19th cent. Sgn. Various royalty coats of arms. Descended in the family of William Weightman. The porcelain was used in his house in Mt. Airy, outside Philadelphia where he entertained lavishly. After his death, that house, Raven Hill, was given to the catholic church. They converted it into a girl's school. The porcelain has been in the family for over 100 years, thence by descent. |
