Early American Indian Rifle Engraved Powder Horn
17th cent. Deeply engraved with a series of ribbands, alternating between scaled & linear decoration; second top most done with zoomorphic decoration. The butt is carved with initials KTS, crossed tomahawks & various other carvings. At the neck, a Christian symbol of a teepee with a cross on top.
