Dated 1810. Needlework embroidered on silk pongee. done by Eunice Marvin Noyes, wife of Judge William Noyes. Eunice Noyes has a handkerchief over her face, standing next to her husband, mourning their two children. The faces are painted and are actual miniatures of the family. Traced to Old Lyme, CT. The lighthouse pictured is The inner light at the mouth of the CT River.
