Pastel Signed lower right "Presented by Capt. John W. Cramer, 1882." The Schooner S.V.R. Watson left Buffalo, NY carrying a cargo load of coal but never reached it's final destination of Port Arthur. After colliding with another ship at the entrance of the St. Mary's River and running aground on May 29, 1887, the ship sunk but was later raised and repaired. |
