Unsigned, with an octagon shaped top, circa 1915. The double octagon shaped frame is bead set with a total of 38 old European cut diamonds. They have an approximate total weight of 1.20 cts and average SI 1-2 clarity. The center is bead set with a transition cut diamond that measures: approximate mounted weight - 1.32 cts., average mounted diameter - 7.0 mm, mounted depth - 4.30 mm, table - 3.6 mm, girdle - not visible due to setting, culet - large (slightly large), general cut and finish - very good, mounted clarity - VVS-1, estimated mounted color - K-L (no fluorescence). A transition cut diamond displays both round brilliant cut and some old European cut characteristics. The ring weighs 5.44 grams.
