Black marble base with gilt bronze mounts, roman numeral dial, paw front feet, surmounted by a gold-tone patinaed metal classical female statue after Auguste Louis Mathurin Moreau (1834-1917) with upraised arm holding a gilt pendulum with a glass bob which swings without an visible means of impulse. eight-day time and strike movement marked "Brevete GLT S.G.D.C.," strikes the hour and half hour on a bell. |
