19th Century Year-going Black Slate & Malachite Mantel Clock
With porcelain enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued moon hands and regulation above XII. Brocot escapement mounted between the dial and front plate. Back plate stamped A.B. within a star and numbered 6392, the case of standard form with concave molding to rectangular plinth with gilt bronze mounts. Lot Essay A similar movement from a wall regulator by Brocot is illustrated in Richard Chavigny Les Brocots une Dynastie d'Horologie Neuchàtel, 1991, p.137, fig.87.

Condition
Some small chips to slate. In running condition. Replaced escapement and jewels keeps accurate time.
