Limited Edition Steuben Glass "Cathedral" Obelisk designed by George Thompson

Corning, New York, circa 1972. Inscribed 'Steuben' original triangular mahogany stand, red leather case. Lot includes original triangular mahogany stand, red leather fitted case, and red leather presentation folio. Tall prismatic form of clear crystal, shaped and engraved to suggest a cathedral spire. By visual illusion the engraved saints and the architectural details appear to be suspended in three dimensions within the glass itself.
