Barbara Krashes is an American contemporary artist. She was the president of the Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors. Born in New York in 1927, she had shows all over New York state including collections at The Hood Museum, Ulrich Museum, and St. Lawrence and Dartmouth University. She believes that “Art is change. Art is learning from the past, but it must grow away from the past.”
