Felice Ludovisi (Italian, 1917-2012)
Felice Ludovisi was an Italian Postwar and Contemporary artist. He arrived in Roma at age 15, and his artistic talents were nurtured there, when he attended the Faculty of Architecture. His career was complex and multifaceted. Ludovisi received the Gold Medal of Merit of Culture and Art. Ludovisi worked as a set designer for the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, taught and directed the Academy of Fine Arts in Roma until 1984, directed the Academies of Foggia and Frosinone, and was a professor at Finch College Museum of Art in New York.
