A 19th century figural clock with Farcot's patented conical pendulum. Gilded dial and Roman numerals. 8-day time and strike movement with engine turned bezel, adjustable brass and steel pendulum with gilded bronze mounts and blue sphere. Rear plate with Eagle and "Medaille de Bronze, Fot Brevette" trademark, serial #69151. White Alabaster case surmounted by a classical draped Spelter figure of a Danaides with vase, on a base with gilded bronze mounts and incised carvings with gold inlay, all on flared floriform bracket feet. |
