Carved Shell Cameo Necklace

Two female profile & bird motif. Natural color variations. Carving measures 38mm x 50mm. The yellow gold pin is stamped 14K, but the frame was tested as 10-karat. There is a number marked inside the frame of 1395 which is hand carved. The frame is a pin & pendant with a fold down bail. There is a yellow gold hollow-link chain tested as 14 karat gold and is 20 3/4" long. Provenance: Private Buffalo NY estate
